Update: quality service on my vehicle. ---‐---- Called yesterday(Wednesday) to schedule for service/inspection. The guy on the phone said tomorrow at 2pm and we agreed to that. Came tomorrow, which is now Thursday. Came in then the guy said "No sir, it's for Friday". Sure... What can I do, right? Been going here for a couple years and that's the first unpleasant experience.

Sorry about the mix up, I was out yesterday with my back. I was scheduled to be your technician. Let me know if your next schedule time is good July 30, at two PM. Thank you Keith Knowlton.

I am happy with the service I have received on my SUV. They seem honest and straightforward on diagnosis. The repairs have been completed quickly and correctly. They even stood behind their warranty and fixed a second problem that caused the check engine light to re light right after I picked it up.

Good, honest mechanics can be so hard to find. I went to LK's after a recommendation from a trusted mobile mechanic who spoke very highly of Keith and his team at LK's. After bringing my 2000 F150 to them I can absolutely see that the praise was deserved! Keith kept me in the loop through every bit of the process. My truck needed a lot of work done, and Keith made sure I understood everything and answered all my questions before proceeding. He even comped some of the work and gave me a discount because of how much work my truck needed. I would go out of my way to bring any of my vehicles to LK's and strongly recommend them! I will add that I had brought my truck to one other mechanic before LK's, who spewed off a bunch of stuff I didn't think my truck needed. Keith set that record straight and only performed the necessary work and made recommendations for things which may not be crucial. I really cannot say enough good about LK's. They're really great!

About 6 months ago, I had experienced a loss in power in my pickup while on a fishing trip with my son. We pulled off the highway and found an auto repair shop. They told us it was probably extensive damage and couldn't do the work at that time. But they gave some suggestions, including the dealership (or as others refer to as "stealership"). We limped our way back to Kitsap county and found a dealership who gave the truck a quick look over, threw some numbers together and gave an estimate that blew me away - $3,000! Holy cow. I didn't know what to do, so I made an appointment to come back in and have it fixed 3 weeks later. A couple days later, I called a friend who owns Kitsap Mobile Mechanic and Repair to get a quote from him. He explained that I should check out an auto repair shop called LK's Auto Repair Inc. He gave rave reviews of their work, their integrity, their shop, and their customer service. So I called them up and explained all that was happening. They took a few hours to look at the truck (in comparison to the dealership, who only looked at it for 30 minutes). They took it for. a test drive, investigated with other auto repair shops or mechanics, and shared that they didn't think that the problems were associated with what the dealership stated. They gave me a reasonable estimate that included a discount and gave me time to consider it. No pressure. A couple days later, I cancelled my appointment with the dealership and took the truck to LK's Auto. It was a 3-4 day repair, so I left it over Thanksgiving weekend. Keith invested his own time on a holiday weekend to work on the truck - and that impressed me so much. When I got the call to come pick it up, he took me through everything that was done and showed me the problems that the truck was experiencing. His diagnosis was correct, he fixed the issues, and since then - the truck has run smoothly. That's why our family will be doing business with LK's Auto for years to come.
